Dear Friends and Neighbours,
Like many of you, I am devastated by the horrific shootings in Tumbler Ridge, B.C. This tragedy has left families grieving and a community in deep shock.
On behalf of the people of Etobicoke North, I have expressed my deepest condolences. Our heartfelt prayers are with the victims, their loved ones, and everyone impacted. I encourage us all to keep them in our thoughts during this incredibly difficult time.
Federal and provincial officials are working closely to ensure the community is fully supported, and we are grateful for the courage of the first responders who acted so bravely.
As Canadians, we will come together as we always do. In time, we will reflect and learn from this tragedy — but today is about standing united, supporting one another, and holding space for those who are grieving.
Here in Etobicoke North, we know the strength of a community that shows up for each other. Let us continue to lead with compassion, unity, and care — for one another and for those hurting across our country.
Sincerely,
Hon. John Zerucelli
Member of Parliament
Etobicoke North
